Are you ready to read about the prettiest place in the entire world? Good! Welcome to Hopkins Landing, a hidden gem of the world nested on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Home to fishermen, families, and lots of bed and breakfast’s, this is a town who gives their resident’s a “Hopkins Landing” t-shirt once a year. How adorable?!
The Sunshine Coast is only accessibly via ferry, and what a weekend to be out on a boat deck!?! Here’s a picture of Horseshoe Bay, where I got on the ferry, as well as a view of the coast, north of Vancouver (it was SOOO windy!):
I stayed in the CUTEST cabin I’ve ever seen! It was a one bedroom, two-story, cabin that rested against a hill, so the second floor was still surrounded by land on three(ish) sides. The bedroom was the only room on the first floor, while everything else was on top. It was also quite a steep hike from the main road. Here’s some photos of the living room, kitchen (sorry it’s blurry!), and the view from the balcony:
Friday night was amazing, and one I’ll never forget! Under a sky full of stars, I went skinny dipping in the freezing Pacific Ocean and when I put my head under water, I could hear a pod of whales!! It was quite an experience. I loved every second of it! It was truly the most incredible feeling I’ve ever felt.
Last but not least, here are some photos of the town:
